New to Church?

Welcome! Whether you've just moved to the area, or have lived here all your life, we hope our website helps you to find out everything you want to know about our Church. God tells us in His word that His Church isn’t a building, but His people. We gather for various activities through the week, and would love to meet you! The main times we meet all together are on Sunday mornings and evenings.

Key information about the church...

Where & when does the church meet?

Following the government’s relaxation announced on 19 July, we no longer require reservation to attend the Sunday service in-person. However, for the contingency purpose of track and trace, we are keeping a log of people who do attend.

In accordance with the relaxation guidelines, singing will resume on Sunday service, as do after service refreshments. Face covering or wearing of mask is no longer mandatory though we do recommend people attending the service wearing them in consideration of others in the congregation.

Please note that if you have symptoms of covid or are being asked to isolate then please do not attend the service in-person but watch our live streaming online.

Online streaming of Sunday services will continue to be available at our normal morning service time of 10.30am on our YouTube channel. Click here to subscribe.

Our Church meets every Sunday at 10.30am for our Sunday Service. Aim to arrive 15 minutes early to ensure you get a parking spot and seat in time for the service to start.

We meet at:

Letchworth Garden City

You can see a map on our contact us page

What should I expect at a Sunday morning service?

You will receive a very warm welcome particularly from our Welcome Team who will be able to answer your questions and direct you to where you need to go. Our worship is all-age meaning that we worship together as a church family. There will be approximately 15 minutes of songs, prayer, and a short children’s-talk led from the front. An age-appropriate activities pack for children/youth is often available to help them get ethe most from the service theme. Then there’s about another 15 minutes with more songs and prayer, and a Bible reading, followed by a preacher giving a message to help us consider and understand how that part of God’s Word applies to our own lives. We normally finish around 11:45am.’

Tea, coffee and biscuits are served after the service where there is plenty of time to meet new people and ask more questions.

What happens to the kids at a Sunday morning service?

Children stay with their parents in the service as we worship (sing songs!) together for the first part of the morning. A creche room is avauilable for the very young and age-related  activities packs will usually be available for children to engage with the themes we are considering at each meeting

Is there a dress code?

No! Please just be yourself and come dressed in your usual clothes.

Will I have to join in?

Not at all! You are free to simply observe or participate as much as feels comfortable for you.

Have more questions, how can I get in touch and ask them?
